Teachers Professional Development Programs:

Diya Welfare Foundation believes in Empowering Teachers by giving them updated teachers’professional development opportunities. So far Diya has:

· Since 2012, Diya has been conducting many 100% free teacher trainings in collaboration with The Guidance House. Diya conducted professional Development Sessions for Government and Private school teachers to enhance teaching and learning standards.

· Free training sessions held in Mirpur (2011-2013) and Muzaffarabad division (2022) in collaboration with APSCA at three different locations namely Muzaffarabd city, Jehlum Valley and Pathikka where a large number of schools and teachers participated and benefitted from teachers’ professional development. Diya fully funded the teacher training in the Muzaffarabad division in 2022. .

Women Empowerment: Skills Development Program:
Offers skills development programs for homemakers and young women. Free classes for housewives and young women include: basic computer skills,
English, handwriting,
handicrafts,
cooking/baking,
personal hygiene, self-care, grooming,
home management, and budgeting.
Partnerships and Community Involvement
The Guidance House School & College System:
Partner for funding and support from the beginning.
Community Engagement: Aims to involve compassionate individuals to generate funds and support initiatives.
